Employee benefits and Dispute Resolution online course

The purpose of this course is to review the dispute resolution of employee benefits. This course provides an overview of the rules of the fund, the role of the Pension Funds Adjudicator and also provides learnings from actual dispute cases. You will learn that the duties and obligations by the board of the retirement fund and administrator do not go unnoticed and the Adjudicator will point out failure of duty. We also consider the impact of the Labour Relations Act as it applies to disputes arising in respect of retirement fund benefits.

Once you have successfully completed this course, you will be able to:
  1. Explain the dispute resolution process in place when disputes arise in respect of retirement funds benefits.
  2. Explain how disputes are resolved in accordance with the Pension Funds Act.
