Understanding the risk planning process online course
The aim of this short course is to provide an overview of the risk planning process.
The course is aimed at refreshing the knowledge and application skills of financial planning students, professional advisers who has a foundational knowledge of risk planning products and who wants to review risk needs as well as the analysis model. The course will consider the questions to ask of clients to gather relevant information to be used in a risk planning analysis in order provide appropriate advice as required by the FAIS Act’s General Code of Conduct, 2002 (Act No. 37 of 2002).
Once you have successfully completed this course, you will be able to:
- Identify risk need areas for clients
- Gather information to complete the risk planning analysis to provide appropriate recommendations to a client as part of the risk planning process.
